Gattis PTA committees help bring our events, programs, and school traditions to life. Each committee focuses on a specific area of PTA work and is led by a committee chair who coordinates planning and volunteers.

Help plan and host a fun evening for Gattis students and families, including activities, decorations, food, volunteers, setup, and cleanup.
When: December 4

Time Commitment: Moderate. Most planning occurs in the weeks leading up to the event, with additional help needed on event day.
Help bring science, technology, engineering, art, and math to life through a fun, hands-on evening for Gattis students and families. Committee members help coordinate activities, supplies, volunteers, and event setup.
When: March 30

Time Commitment: Moderate. Most planning occurs in the weeks leading up to the event, with additional help needed on event day.
Help plan one of Gattis PTA’s biggest family events of the year, including games, activities, food, vendors, prizes, volunteers, setup, and cleanup.

Time Commitment: Light-Moderate. Planning activities and support with booking vendors leading up to the carnival. Day of event set-up, booth volunteering, or clean-up opportunities.
Help raise funds that support PTA programs, events, and our Gattis community. Committee members help coordinate fundraisers, spirit nights, sponsorships, and other fundraising opportunities.

Help create a welcoming Gattis community by coordinating refreshments, hospitality, and special touches for PTA and school events.

Time Commitment: Flexible. Primarily tied to specific events and activities.
Help celebrate Gattis teachers and staff by coordinating meals, treats, gifts, decorations, and other special ways to show our appreciation.

Help recognize and support former Gattis Gators as they continue their education. Committee members help promote the scholarship, review applications, and coordinate the selection and recognition process.
